Motion Paintings

Motion Paintings are new media works that explore the intersection of traditional painting and time-based digital media. I use a single image or pixels as my palette and error/glitch as my brush to create textures and illusions of depth for 2D screens.

My process has evolved over the last 3 years. A single painting can involve days, weeks, or years of processing. I am consistently exploring different combinations and sequences. As my process evolves, I often remix and expand older pieces to explore how the piece evolves with me over time.
