The Femme Gaze

"The Femme Gaze" offers a bold and beautiful exploration into the intimate connection individuals have with their feminine energy. Originally envisioned as the "Female Gaze," this collection evolved into a reflection on the multifaceted experiences and perspectives of those who engage with their feminine essence when they meet your gaze. 

At its core, "The Femme Gaze" stands as a testament to connection, understanding, and empowerment. It serves as a platform for shared strength and mutual understanding. It offers a space for acknowledging the inherent agency and significance of all people, particularly those historically marginalized, colonized, and oppressed by patriarchal structures–including all men who are scorned for embracing their feminine energy or qualities associated with the feminine. 

Intentionally confronting the tendencies of objectification, most artworks within this collection are deliberately close-up, collaged, and painted. This approach challenges traditional modes of perception and urges the audience to engage intimately with the subjects. Through magnified, intimate perspectives, the artwork insists on a personal and empathetic connection while remaining playful and light-hearted.

This collection stands as a beacon of intersectional feminism, inviting viewers to explore a rich tapestry of expressions, revelations, and emancipation. It extends an invitation to embrace the feminine experience within us all.
